Automotive Supply Chain Improvement
We recently partnered with a leading supplier for major automotive OEMs struggling to anticipate supply chain disruptions. For over one year, expedited shipment costs exceeded $3 million per quarter due to obstacles in their global supply base.

Our client engaged MIGSO-PCUBED to identify and address issues within cost reduction processes across multiple commodities within Research & Development, which included areas such as vehicle body, chassis, electrical, and trim.
Working at full maturity across all commodities, the team were delivering an ROI of more than 400%, which included:
- 8% increase in cost reduction idea throughput and impact loss avoidance.
- 20% increase in standardization of processes.
- 14% increase in engineers’ time.
- 24% cost saving, as project management activities were being carried out by a PMO rather than a higher cost engineering expert.

Integration of a Global Supply Chain Schedule
Our customer, a leader in renewable energy, was eager to improve visibility over critical components acquisition, our client engaged MIGSO-PCUBED to create and monitor the GSC schedule for all its projects.
The implementation of GSC’s schedules by MIGSO-PCUBED lead our client towards better ways of working and monitoring projects:
- 2000 to 4000 activities are now tracked by project schedules.
- Schedules are now integrated between the 3 departments (ENG, GSC, PMO).
- Teams that were reluctant at the beginning are now using the schedules with their customers.
- Dashboards that were only used by GSC’s teams are now used by our client’s management team and by the other departments.

We unite people to turn compassion into action – amplifying the voices of people who fight to support our community, veterans, environment, and personal wellbeing. But we can’t do it alone! Take a moment and check out our major initiatives to discover how you can get involved from anywhere. Our initiatives are focused on caring for veterans, the environment, personal wellness, and our community.
Restoring Our Habitat
Our team partnered with the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust to volunteer for a habitat restoration project at Park Pointe in Issaquah, Washington. We put on our sturdy clothes to help remove invasive plants from the wetlands, near an important salmon-bearing waterway.

Sending Love to Elders
CORTAC employees took time to “share the love” by writing letters in support of this nonprofit organization that’s dedicated to fighting loneliness among senior communities across North America.

Combating Food Insecurity
We sponsored the 12th Annual Issaquah Turkey Trot. Proceeds support the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank which distributes 1+ million pounds of free food and basic needs resources to 6,000+ individuals yearly.

We joined the Seattle Brain Cancer Walk as a “Spirit of Hope” sponsor. This event supports research efforts at the Ben & Catherine Ivy Center for Advanced Brain Tumor Treatment & provides a day of hope to those affected by brain cancer.

Caring for Veterans
In honor of our commitment to care for veterans, this quarter we donated to Veterans Produce in Lewisville, TX. This organization enables 365-day access to fresh produce through their community garden for veterans.

Mental Health Awareness
Our latest employee challenge focused on the mental health of our communities. We funded over 2 days of crisis hotline services between the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Hope for the Warriors, and the Fisher House Foundation.

Food for Those in Need
This holiday season, we prioritized feeding those in need. Our donations to the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank, the Ranier Valley Food Bank, and the Middle Georgia Community Food Bank provided 80,000 meals throughout or communities.

COVID Relief Fund
Our team gets engaged! In Q3 2020, we challenged them to eat healthy – the winners donated a combined 9,000 meals to the Sacred Heart Emergency Outreach Food Pantry, the East Shore Unitarian Church, and the Pike Place Market Foundation.

Flint Water Fund
Team members stayed hydrated this quarter with our H20 Challenge! Everyone needs clean drinking water, so we donated 1,920 bottles of fresh water to the Flint Water Fund.
