At MP we are proud to support the project management profession from Degree Apprenticeships through to Chartered Project Professionals, as well as many special interest groups, charities, and communities.

As part of our continuous growth plans, we have expanded our UK footprint and opened a third MP office in Manchester. This will help us to strengthen capabilities for our existing clients in the area, move us closer to our MPower apprenticeship programme at the University of Cumbria, and continue to build networks in the north of England.

Our global Corporate Social Responsibility programme is structed around three core pillars, containing a portfolio of goals and projects, and based on the UN Sustainability Development Goals and ISO 26000 standards. Beyond just corporate priority, we genuinely feel at MP that it is our individual responsibility to act now, enabling a better future for everyone.

In addition, we have a long-standing sponsorship with Egremont Rugby Union Football Club (RUFC), helping them achieve their mission: ‘To strengthen our community through the love of sport’. Many of Egremont RUFC members have represented England and it is one of the oldest rugby union clubs in the country. Through our sponsorship, Egremont RUFC have organised numerous tag rugby festivals at local primary schools.

This year, one of their main goals is to increase women in sport and establish a first all ladies team. We are committed to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, so this sponsorship is important to us.

London Office Transformation

MIGSO-PCUBED UK’s head office is located at Tower Hill, in the City of London, spread across seven floors. During lockdown when the office was closed, we took the opportunity to re-design and change the way the space would be used in anticipation of future ways of working.

As with any renovation project, we needed a project manager to oversee every aspect, from planning to snagging. Luckily, as project management specialists, we weren’t short of them! In true project management style, we set our own objectives, scope, budgets, timelines and much more.

In our seven-story office, the new design incorporates collaboration and work-focused floors, modern kitchen areas for employees to connect or take a break, and a state-of-the-art mixed reality SmartStage training academy and presentation suite.

As a company, we prioritise wellbeing and inclusivity. Therefore, our office is now equipped with sit-stand desks, sustainable materials, prayer room, and mothering room. The building is also fully accessible throughout.

Hybrid ways of working

MP have adopted an innovative extended reality, SmartStage technology which has revolutionised the way we can create and deliver content. SmartStage is an immersive, limitless, 360-degree video environment, allowing presenters and the audience to see and interact with content around them.

The SmartStage has been built into one of the seven floors of our London office and is a self-contained hybrid working space. We have branded this our MP XR Lab.

Extended reality is very sustainable and supports our global CSR goals. We can host hybrid events elevating an immersive experience for both in person and virtual participants. As a global project management consultancy, we can interact with our colleagues around the world.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, environments and behaviours in which we work, teach, and learn have dramatically changed and evolved. As a result, there has been an increased need for virtual learning, streamed content, and remote collaboration tools.

SmartStage technology has typically been used to host the Olympic winter games, ITV sports and in education at universities. We are the first industry company in the UK to install this technology in our offices.
