The COVID-19 outbreak has impacted us all, and the full extent of which we don’t really know yet. But how did we cope with lockdown, and how did we try to turn this global crisis into an opportunity ? Back to March 2020.
The well-being of our employees was our top priority. So, our immediate efforts were focused on employee safety and the continuity of our business. That is why, like many other companies around the world, we had to adapt our ways of working and change to working remotely for the foreseeable future.
Moving from the office to working from home quite quickly can be daunting and a bit tough. So, during this crazy period, we have launched several initiatives to be stronger together and to make sure that nobody feels isolated.
First of all, we have created a social solidarity group to share, help and connect beyond business with our colleagues.
We have created a morning routine by calling our team first thing to check in on one another, discuss what we are doing for the day, and to see if we can help each other out.
Some of our colleagues have also tried virtual coffee breaks to keep in touch, wearing our corporate colors, which was a great wink!
Lockdown was also an opportunity to discover our teammates’ talents such as drawing or playing music. It has been a nice way to find out more about our colleagues!
We shared our new home office views photos of our new four-legged colleagues, cooking recipes, and our sporting routines.
We have reconnected with nature when we had the chance to! Have a look at Leonardo’s story, Consultant in Rennes, France. He takes you on a bike ride while telling us about his new daily life!
We have also interviewed our teams around the globe just for you and asked them to comment on their #WorkFromHome situation. Meet them on YouTube
In life, you can decide to see the glass half empty or half full.
A lot of our project managers took advantage of this crisis and have developed their skills thanks to LinkedIn Learning. Some of us have been on training courses to gain Agile certifications, such as Raquel, Project Manager based in Mobile, Alabama.
Lockdown has also given us the opportunity to organize and attend webinars.
We took up the challenge to deliver a virtual #SAFe training course, with as high a quality of experience as we have in person! And we are happy to report we delivered.
Congratulations to all our new #ScrumMasters capitalizing on training while working remotely!
