Review of our CSR Initiatives in 2024
- CSR
Throughout 2024 across more than 15 countries, our teams have been engaged in numerous Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. From environmental actions to equity and inclusion, these efforts reflect a commitment to making a difference at every level and embodying MIGSO-PCUBED’s core values of engagement.
At MP, our CSR policy is built through the active involvement of our employees. Each of their teams help implement and shape the policy at the local level in constant interaction with our CSR Manager.
Acting for the Environment
Environmental preservation was a key focus this year with simple yet impactful actions carried out across all our offices:
Digital Clean-Up Challenge:
A challenge was launched to raise awareness among our employees about the environmental impact of digital usage. Teams were encouraged to reduce their carbon footprint by cleaning up their email inboxes and deleting unnecessary files.
Sustainable Mobility Challenge:
This inter-office challenge, organized in France and Germany over one month, encouraged the adoption of eco-friendly transportation methods such as cycling, walking, or public transport. In total, 16,496 km were traveled in a greener way!
Clean-Up Day:
This year, 12 of our offices dedicated time to cleaning up green spaces around their offices. For example, in Toulouse, as in 2023, teams cleaned the banks of the Touch River.
Signing of the Ecovadis Charter:
In 2024, we signed the Ecovadis charter, allowing us to monitor our CSR practices, measure them, and define actions for improvement!
Supporting Local Communities
Implementing charitable actions has helped strengthen ties with local communities and support causes and organizations close to our hearts:
In Toronto, our teams prepared and distributed meals in partnership with Club Sandwiches, while in Montreal, toys were donated to underprivileged children alongside the Welcome Hall Mission.
In England, the “Canoe the Wye” challenge raised funds for Disability Sports Coach, an organization that promotes access to sports for people with disabilities.
In Ann Arbor, MI, our team participated in the “Cooking Up Comfort” program by Ronald McDonald House Charities, preparing meals for families of hospitalized children in the US.
In Paris, our DEI community organized a roundtable on everyday sexism in the workplace— a first for MP in France, providing an opportunity to highlight how it manifests and how to respond.
In France, our “We Care” skills-based volunteering program allowed employees to contribute their project management expertise to local associations: 360 hours were dedicated to these missions this year.
We also organized a year-end donation drive in several of our French offices, assembling support boxes filled with food, clothing, hygiene products, and books for homeless individuals.
In France, Canada, and Mexico, volunteers also donated blood during their lunch break—a small act that can save lives!
At the end of the year, around fifty employees wrote letters to elderly people who are in isolation, in partnership with the associations “Una carta para un abuelo” and “Petit Frère des Pauvres,” bringing warmth during the holiday season in France and Spain.
Promoting Inclusion and Well-being
Several initiatives focused on inclusion and well-being, both for our employees and society as a whole:
In Munich, a charity yoga class was organized, allowing participants to practice while contributing to a fundraiser for the Environmental Institute of Munich, which supports sustainable agriculture and ecological transition.
In the Americas, our Mexican teams supported the association “Niños y Niñas de la Sierra” by developing monitoring and analysis tools to facilitate access to education for children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Finally, we ran for a good cause all year long through our charity run program. More than 40 races were organized worldwide, helping us support many associations and causes.
