About the Role

As a Data Science Degree Apprentice, you will embark on an exciting journey to develop your skills and knowledge in data science while earning a degree. This is a pioneering new role in our UK company, working within our UK Business Development, Insights and Research Function, with access to a career development Coach and the opportunity to knowledge share and connect to other data science roles in our global group of companies.

Your Role:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and pre-processing data for analysis.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
• Develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics and pattern recognition.
• Collaborate with our strategic advisors, cross-industry leaders and business development teams to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate model performance.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in data science and related fields.

Your profile:

• BBB at A Level including Maths or L4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship at Distinction or Merit
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for working with data.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
• Familiarity with statistical concepts and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
