Service Innovation Research - Oxford University
We have partnered with the Oxford Saïd Business School to research how businesses across the world are using Service Innovation.
A large number of organisations are finding their services under threat. There is a new wave of digital disruption with changes in technology, customer behaviours, personalisation, and data to create innovative, customer-friendly alternatives to service offerings. Examples include Uber, Airbnb, and Amazon.
We started with the hypothesis that traditional businesses need to transform their ways of delivering services to succeed in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
To test this hypothesis, we’ve partnered with the Oxford Saïd Business School to conduct an industry-wide study on “Service Innovation”.
Service innovation is the process by which businesses decide to embark on a profitable way of integrating services with their products in order to better serve the needs of the customer.
We’re approaching businesses and organisations at all levels of service innovation, from product manufacturers to service providers, to understand their drivers for change and the traits that accelerate that change.
We have developed an online survey so that anyone can take part in our research. Follow the link below to help us uncover the secrets for successful service innovation.
