As part of Airbus Canada's new Team Recognition Program, two MIGSO-PCUBED consultants, Éloïse and Francesca, were honored for their outstanding contribution within the Procurement department.
In this interview, they share their experience as PMO consultants and reveal what drives the success of their project.
Engagement Context
Airbus Canada is currently leading several major industrial projects, particularly around the A220 program. In this context, MIGSO-PCUBED (MP) supports Airbus by deploying PMO consultants to enhance operational performance and structure high-stakes projects.
Within this context, Éloïse and Francesca joined the Procurement Operations teams with a shared objective: to structure, monitor, and drive the performance of suppliers and incoming parts.
Spotlight on the Recognition Program
Airbus Canada's Recognition Program was created to reward outstanding projects and highlight team commitment based on measurable criteria.
For this first edition, four projects were awarded, involving ten members of the Procurement department – including two MP consultants.
Our clients say it best:
“Francesca has done an outstanding job helping to define and manage the Early Signal Dashboard tool, which is the cornerstone of the ZeroM project and our approach to anticipating missing parts. She quickly grasped the structure of this complex tool and has already improved it in many ways. With her positive attitude, she always welcomes feedback from the teams to enhance both the tool and the process. ZeroM is a key initiative for Procurement Operations, and Francesca plays an active and important role in its deployment. Thank you and well done, Francesca!”
“Éloïse has played a key role in managing multiple topics related to optimizing ways of working and driving high-impact projects. She truly embodies the Airbus ‘We Are One’ value, both in her work and in her attitude. Through many interactions and exchanges, Éloïse consistently places people at the heart of every initiative. We’re happy to have her on the team — keep up the great work!”
Meet Francesca & Éloïse – Interview Highlights
A few words about yourselves
Francesca: "I joined MP Montreal just over a year ago. I'm working with Airbus Canada to improve the operational performance of the A220 - a complex but fascinating challenge. What I love most about MP is the diversity of projects, the close relationship with clients, and the fact that we get to learn, share, and make a real impact."
Éloïse: "I have always loved traveling and being able to bring my PMO knowledge while exploring different industrial sectors made joining MIGSO-PCUBED in Lyon a natural choice - followed by a move to Montreal, trading pralines for poutine.
Can you tell us about your engagement?
Francesca: My mission is part of a strategic initiative aimed at improving supply chain performance and securing assembly operations. The project focuses on reducing inventory discrepancies and improving stock coverage - two critical challenges that directly impact smooth production on the Final Assembly Line (FAL).
As a PMO consultant, I structure project management by bringing clarity, cadence, and consistency to the data. I’ve implemented monitoring routines, reliable KPIs, and smooth coordination across teams to enable faster decision-making and concrete actions every week.
Éloïse: I support my team in managing crises involving critical suppliers. Thanks to the KPIs Francesca provides, we’re able to identify recurring issues, address them, and work towards a more strategic and preventive approach.
I’m also involved in cross-functional projects, including the creation of the Recognition Program. It allows me to connect cultural and organizational topics with a strong human impact.
What does it feel like to receive an award from the CEO of Airbus Canada?
Francesca: A lot of emotion and pride. This award shows that our work matters, even as external consultants. And receiving it directly from the CEO of Airbus Canada is a true sign of trust.
Éloïse: When you see Benoît Schultz taking the time to personally present the awards and talk with us for 45 minutes, it’s incredibly moving. It shows that we’re fully integrated - beyond our consultant status.
In your opinion, what sets an MP consultant beside other consulting companies?
Francesca: What really made the difference was our mindset. As PMO consultants at MIGSO-PCUBED, we don’t just follow a project schedule. We build relationships, ask the right questions, and create project momentum in a highly operational environment.
Éloïse: I completely agree with Francesca. Beyond our strong PMO expertise, what truly sets us apart is our team spirit. We’re fortunate to have a deep sense of solidarity within the MP community. This synergy isn’t just a concept - it’s reflected in mutual support, knowledge sharing, and close collaboration on every project.
What advice would you give to a junior consultant?
Éloïse: Ask questions, seek advice - it really makes a difference during onboarding. Whether it’s through the Delivery Manager (DM), Delivery Coordinator (DC), or the consultants already on site, you’re never alone. I often tell new consultants: don’t be afraid to ask. I followed that advice so much when I arrived at Airbus that they called me ‘Madame Questions’ - and now, acronyms hold no secrets for me!
Francesca: I would add that it’s essential, from the very beginning of the assignment, to stay curious and truly listen - from start to finish. Never hesitate to ask questions, even if they seem basic. What helped me early on was quickly trying to understand the context and identifying the right people to guide me effectively. And of course, as Éloïse mentioned, the MP network is a great asset - but you also have to stay tuned in to the client teams, to fully understand their expectations and respond to them as best as possible.
What’s next for you?
Francesca: The next step for me is to continue building my expertise, especially on the projects I’m already involved in. I also want to contribute more on the MP side: share what I have learned, support new consultants as they start their assignments, and pass along a few tips.
Éloïse: In my current engagement, my short-term goal is to take on more responsibilities. On the MP side, I aim to strengthen our presence within the Procurement department, grow my team, and actively contribute to its development and visibility.
Thank you to Airbus for launching this initiative and for allowing external collaborators to benefit from it.
Congratulations to Éloïse, Francesca, and all the teams committed to excellence and innovation in the aerospace industry.
