M&A Change Management For ERP Systems
MI-GSO | PCUBED was contracted by a leading oil & gas company to provide Change Management services, preparing the business for the implementation of an ERP System and its associated processes across recently acquired yet still semi-autonomous business units.
While initial deployments had not met stakeholder expectations for a successful launch, MI-GSO | PCUBED once on board deployed best practice change management interventions, improving readiness of the organization for the ultimately successful Go-Lives.
MI-GSO | PCUBED designed and deployed a Change Management approach around a series of change cycles, to address the client’s low Project Management and Change Management practice maturity across the organization, linking assessment of change readiness to the program Go Live dates thereby allowing modification, without reinvention, and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the business.
Key Change Management interventions included the deployment of a Change Assessment with defined Role Mapping, providing a clear picture of the future state business processes with assigned roles and defined resources, linked to tailored training and communications.
Second, the MI-GSO | PCUBED team defined a Communications Strategy and Communication Plan, drastically increasing the flow of communication, providing sneak peek access to work in progress, in person meetings, printed collateral and support content to ensure all distributed stakeholder teams knew what was happening, what to do next and where to go for help.
Finally MI-GSO | PCUBED developed and deployed a Training Catalogue of Pre Go Live, Post Go Live and Reinforcement Training across all business units, proceeded with the first Go Live on schedule, while recovering from a hurricane, with follow on Go Lives all deemed a success.
“Thanks for everything you have done on the project, I know without a doubt we would not be where we are today without you. You made a world of difference with your drive, determination and overall skill set!”
