MI-GSO|PCUBED is looking for an experienced and passionate Data Analyst Consultant with finance/banking industry experience to join our team and support our engagements. This position is operating on a Sunday-Thursday schedule with hours of operation between 12-8pm PST.

Every day, we support our clients by steering major Projects and Programs, managing Project Portfolios, improving maturity and efficiency of PM Organizations, and addressing business transformation and change management initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Data Extraction and Transformation: Collaborate with IT and business teams to extract relevant data from SAP systems and other databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the dataset.
  • Data Analysis: Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within the data. Develop meaningful insights that support business objectives and drive process improvements.
  • Report Generation: Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders, including management and department heads.
  • Data Integrity and Quality: Perform data quality assessments, identifying anomalies or inconsistencies and working to resolve data discrepancies. Implement data cleansing and enrichment processes as needed.
  • Business Intelligence: Utilize your SAP expertise to provide insights that enhance business intelligence capabilities. Collaborate with the business intelligence team to integrate SAP data into larger analytics initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and marketing, to understand their data needs and provide analytical support for their decision-making processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and process optimization based on data analysis outcomes. Collaborate with relevant teams to implement these improvements.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analysis and SAP to bring innovative solutions to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on SAP data.
  • Proficiency in SAP data extraction tools (e.g., SAP Business Objects, SAP BW) and SQL for querying databases. Database management and wrangling experience will be beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create compelling reports and dashboards.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

WHO ARE YOU?

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the finance and banking industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial products, banking operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex business processes, identifying pain points, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, and implementation.
  • Experience working with SAP in some capacity.
  • Proven experience in documenting business requirements, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation:

MI-GSO | PCUBED believes in fair and equitable compensation. The reasonable estimate of the current total compensatory salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 annually for San Francisco. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in an annual performance-based incentive program. M|P offers comprehensive contributions to medical, dental, and vision for you and your dependents. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
