Each leader must be able to reinforce the change definition as well the case for the change… and model targeted behaviors.

Reinforce 

Reinforce the change and Transition 

Successfully driving adoption requires the ability to flex and adapt as stakeholders work through their individual journey from initial awareness of the change to adoption of the new way of working. Throughout the project, the change team monitors all aspects of the change and manages the cadence of stakeholder communications and reinforcement activities. Tactics and messaging are adjusted to address identified gaps and effectively lead each stakeholder on their respective journey.

Transition begins early to ensure a seamless hand off – operational owners are actively involved in change management activities during the project to develop their change leadership capabilities. Mechanisms to reinforce and sustain the change following the project are established and operationalized prior to closing the project. Operational owners assume longer-term measurement of value realization.
